Born and raised in East Boston, Massachusetts, I have now lived in Hollis, New Hampshire for many years. With an engineering degree in mechanical design technology I worked in a high tech industry until 1986. It was then that I left corporate life to pursue a career in fine art.

My medium is oil paint and I work in a style that I like to describe as Representational Impressionism.

My subject matter is that of light and atmosphere and its effects on both the urban and rural landscape.

I also like to create mixed media paintings of both contemporary and abstract themes.
